Non-Profit 501(c)(3)
In 2006, Friends of Bluffton Dog Parks applied for non-profit status with the state of South Carolina. Within a few months, the application was approved and Friends of Bluffton Dog Parks gained non-profit 501c3 status.
What does 501c3 status mean? There are several tax benefits that come along with the 501c3 status. The most important of these benefits is for you! All of your dontations to help bring a dog park to Bluffton are now tax deductible.
